My chocolate lab Lucy has been a great companion over the years. But when I retired, I decided that we could spend our time together doing something a little more worthwhile than playing catch.
We got involved in a program where I take her around a hospital and let her visit with patients to cheer them up and help their overall well-being. It’s great because we both get to see the positive effects Lucy has on others. A few weeks ago while we were making our rounds, we visited one older lady who spoke very softly. I was having trouble hearing what she said and realized that maybe I needed hearing aides.
When w e went home that afternoon I looked up hearing aid in PA and found some great miracle ear hearing aids reviews that convinced me to get some last week.
A few days ago we visited the same lady and I could hear what she was saying clearly and was able to tell her a little bit about what Lucy and I do in the hospital.
