So my best friend and I together have been saving money for a while. Our hope has been that we will save enough money to fly her here and then have spending money for her stay. We finally have enough to pay for the flight. We are now working on saving the spending money. We have all sorts of things planned while she is here. Things like knitting, frying chicken (she’s going to teach me), watching movies, staying up late talking, driving around the countryside and whatever else strikes our fancy.
After she has had her visit here, we will start saving for my trip to her house. I cannot wait to meet her family, dip my toes in the ocean at Myrtle Beach, eat boiled peanuts and see the swamps. The plan is to stay at her house but who knows maybe we will look at renting a Luxury Durham, NC Apartments, Rent High Point, NC Apartments or Charlotte, NC Apartments for the week. Nah. I really want to get to know her family and the place that she lives.
So, by this spring I will once again be enjoying the company of my best friend, Cass. The person that I have known for the last 7.5 years and have only met once in person. We have shared a lot of things in that time over the internet and the phone. Its time to start sharing some things with her face to face.
