Ang.’s Chicken Coop

School is coming to a close. In just 3 short weeks, the kids will be home for the summer. YAY! We will have a calm summer with just Clint and Karly playing softball with our little town league. We decided with the way that gas and food prices keep climbing that none of the kids could play in the bigger leagues. They cost more in registration fees and in gas. There are a lot of games 45 minutes to an hour away with the other leagues. This small league consists of 4 small towns right in our area so the gas usage will be a minimum. The registration fee is also cheap, just the price of a t-shirt. Clint has never played fast-pitch before and we really debated about letting him. We don’t want his swing to get messed up for baseball. We decided that since this is a pretty laid back league with few practices it shouldn’t hurt. So I am really looking forward to a more laid back summer beginning soon!
