Clint’s basketball season will be coming to an end in the next few weeks. It seems that these last several weeks are packed with games. I wish that their whole season had been more packed with games that it has been. However, it is what it is and we just go forward from here. This past week they had games Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. And each game they won and extended their record to 7-0.
Last night’s game was their toughest game they have played. In fact it is the first game that they have not completely blown the competition out of the water by halftime. I wanted to share just a few highlights from last night.
Now admittedly, these 2 refs are not my favorite but what in the world? What is possessing these guys with using hot pink whistles? Now this first ref is a bit dramatic but I have never thought of him as feminine enough to be picking out area rugs.
And this guy strikes me as nothing but a stern ref…except for that pink whistle. What is up with that?
And then Clint told us after the game that they were using breast cancer awareness whistles. OOOOH! Okay, not that is cool!
Clint (#44) had a huge game Friday night and followed it up with another big game last night.
The last time we had a game in this particular gym, one of the cheerleaders got dropped on her head. She had a concussion and was out for a couple of weeks. I think we have just the best cheerleaders around!
Next week there is another round of games. All of them are away games so that means some traveling. But only one of them is a distance away. The other 2 are pretty close to home.
