Work Day

Today has been a day filled with outside work. We tilled up some of the weeds in the garden and laid down a pickup truck load of grass clippings. I pulled weeds from around the tomatoes, some of the strawberries and one blackberry. I pulled all of the spent radishes and the tall weeds from that row. In the process, I found 2 volunteer cherry tomatoes, 1 Amish paste and 2 Brandywines. I transplanted one of the Brandywines and the Amish paste. The cherry tomatoes will stay where they are for now.

Let me tell you what. There is no need for this body to use incontinence products after today. I don’t think I have sweat so much since I was a kid stuck in a haymow stacking straw. I may just be a bit dehydrated. I am sporting a whopper of a headache and a bit of a queasy stomach. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that I am sunburned, too. Yeah. I am glad the work is done but it just about did me in!
