This summer our church formed a youth praise band. Clint plays electric guitar and Jasmine and Karly both sing. I love that my kids are wanting to use their talents in this way! Now, this little band is not the best but they put a lot of effort into it. That’s all that God wants, you know? So, this year they performed in the Christmas program. The song that they chose needed some younger singers so Melina got to sing, too! Unfortunately my battery died and I didn’t get the whole song.
I know that people will not be loading up their motorhomes and crashing down our church doors on Sunday just to hear these kids perform. That really isn’t the point. The point is that they are putting themselves out there to praise our Lord so that other people can hear. And for that reason alone I am proud of all those kids.
