A little over a year ago we brought home 2 sweet puppies. Sadly one puppy was hit by a car. This left one adorable little puppy. That puppy has grown into the protector of our farm. Maybe he hasn’t grown big in size but he has grown big in heart.
He faces down all sorts of predators every night. Things like coyotes and foxes and raccoons. They better have bought up some health insurance in NC if they venture onto his turf! Just don’t ask him to face down water because that scares the poopy out of him!
He is constantly out in the fields digging for mice and moles and whatever else he might come across. His feet are always packed with mud and his fur is always full of burrs.
Despite his ferociousness and hunting abilities he is the sweetest and most lovable little dog there is. And he is so cute you just want to eat him up.
He occasionally gets himself in a pickle during his explorations. I am pretty sure that he ended up getting wet getting out of this.
But for the most part he is just happy-go-lucky Oliver heading out into the great unknown searching for those things that only dogs search for.
“Wanna come with me?”
