Replacing Broken Glasses

I have been a contact wearer for close to 30 (*gulp*) years. However about 9 months ago my contacts just got to be more of a hassle to wear than they were worth. I began to wear my glasses full time and put my contacts away in the cabinet. And then last weekend it happened. My glasses frame broke while I was cleaning them. They just snapped. So I have been forced to start wearing my contacts again. Which is all fine and good until my eyes need a break and then I don’t have any glasses to wear. I absolutely cannot see without some sort of corrective device. So I have taped my glasses enough that I can wear them around the house.

Its been more than a year since my last eye exam so I can’t just order a new pair of glasses. And I have already decided that my next pair will come from ZenniOptical.com. I have blogged about them and their $8 and up eyeglasses before. However, I now have proof that not only are their eyeglasses inexpensive but they are also really nice. My friend, Deb, ordered a couple of pair from ZenniOptical.com and loves them! You may have heard about the $8 eyeglasses on The Clark Howard Show or Fox Newx TV, too. All I know is that as soon as I can get into the eye doctor and get a new prescription, I am going to order these in pink:

Now I know that once I get all the bells and whistle that I need they will be more than $8 but even so they will be cheap! And I will be able to give my eyes a rest from my contacts without wearing glasses that have been haphazardly taped together.

I heard broken and taped glasses are a rage at the Paris fashion week. BTW, 30 years is a long time to be wearing contacts. So you been wearing them since you were born? Just kidding. You don’t really have to say. :)

That’s a very old company of you. More people may think:“Oh,I can finally change my glasses.”
My oldest friend is a pen which was given to me by my grandpa.Well,it’s not something luxury, but I like it.
