The time has finally come around again. Boys basketball is gearing up to start in a week! Clint has been really enjoying his practices even though they are 3 hours long and 6 days a week. And personally I think I would rather watch a boys basketball game than enjoy outer banks vacation rentals for a month. I never thought I would say that. Ever. But I really do enjoy watching the game. Clint is playing up this year so we will be able to watch him play in 2 games every night. I cannot wait! He has been lifting weights 3 days a week for a couple of months and has really bulked up. See?
The varsity team needs a little bulk and Clint sure has it! I really don’t know how much playing time he will get but I know he will get some. He has improved so much in quickness and ball handling since last year. I love seeing that. And really, its just as fun to watch all of the other boys play.
Last night was the fall sports annual fundraiser, The Titan Showcase. All of the sports get to show off what they can do. It was a blast to see (and hear because the Pep Band played) what is in store for basketball (girls and boys), wrestling, poms and cheerleading. It should be a great season for all of them. We really have some talented kids in our little school.
