Ang.’s Chicken Coop

It is wet people. It has rained every day this week. And I don’t mean just a drizzly kind of rain either. I mean the kind that will flood your basement, ruin your AC filters and make you pour over plans for an ark. Mud is the new black. We are all wearing it when we go outside. Just how wet is it? I’ll show you.

The bushes have worn their diamond drops all week. Its pretty but, you know, change is also good.

Our small garden has its own duck pond now.

And the landscape is just soggy. Soggy, I tell you!

The chicken yards are a mucky, muddy mess. Although they don’t seem to mind.

And the driveway has become somewhat of a river.

Today is supposed to be the last day of rain…for this week. I would much rather have snow than rain at this point. Having rain when it is only in the 40’s is just darn right bone chilling. So bring on the snow! Let’s move right on out of this cold, wet weather we are having into the gloriousness of snow!
