This weekend the temperature rose above freezing! This made it a perfect time to muck out some of the chicken coops. It hard to fork out frozen poop and straw so waiting for the temperature to rise is imperative. We check the temperature in the winter like folks might check the murad reviews. As soon, as the temperature rises we clean coops. Tom, Clint and Aaron forked out the bigger part of the hen’s coop on Saturday.
They forked the old straw into the run. Aaron spread it around the run. The chickens had a great time scratching through all of that old bedding.
We still have plenty of of coop cleaning to do. It sure was good to get some of it done though.

Yep the pictures for the cleaning up of the chicken coops are nice. The temperature does play a great role here.
Respect.
